A passionate networker, Neil owns and manages Fleet Recruitment Ltd and is Vice Chairman of the Darlington North East England Chamber of Commerce member committee.
With a proven track record in sales and sales management, Neil also works as a sales trainer and consultant. He has helped improve sales performance and brought success for businesses both locally and throughout the UK. Sales is the lifeblood of business, and Neil can help any company with practical strategies, structure and performance management to overcome operational challenges.
Neil’s main motivation in starting Deliberately Different is his passion to share lessons learned from all of the mistakes he’s made, so that you don’t make them too!

As Chief Fire Officer for Cleveland, John was one of the youngest and longest serving in the UK. Responsible for a multimillion pound budget and management of 800 staff, under extreme pressure in a complex political environment, he initiated ground-breaking operational and cultural changes which led to dramatic reductions in fire and road deaths. A proven leader, John’s greatest talent is his ability to see the bigger picture.

After an impoverished childhood in Manchester, John spent thirty-five years dealing with people at their most vulnerable and in the most unbearable circumstances. John’s passion for helping the wider community is driven by his experience, and is demonstrated in the significant charitable work he has instigated and managed.
